Climate Change Course

Ecodemy is pleased to announce our latest course: Climate Change

Climate change refers to long-term shifts in temperatures and weather patterns. Such shifts can be natural, due to changes in the sun’s activity or large volcanic eruptions. But since the 1800s, human activities have been a main driver of climate change primarily due to the burning of fossil fuels like coal, oil and gas. In this course, we will cover the history, causes, and impacts of Climate Change, as well as the solutions and actions we can take. We will explore how human activities, particularly the burning of fossil fuels and excessive waste production, contribute to greenhouse gas emissions and the greenhouse effect. By understanding the scientific consensus and its potential consequences, we can work towards a sustainable future for our planet.
