One of my interests when it comes to environmental issues is figuring out how I can lead a more sustainable lifestyle and how I can make more environmentally conscious decisions during my day-to-day life. For instance, one way that I try to lead a more sustainable lifestyle is by not consuming any red meat (e.g. beef, pork), in order to try and reduce my contribution to greenhouse gas emissions (such as methane). Another way I try to lead a more sustainable lifestyle is by using reusable products instead of single-use plastics: for instance, reusable containers, bags, straws, utensils, etc. As well, I try to lead a more sustainable lifestyle by saving energy in any way that I can, such as by turning off lights, washing in cold, hanging clothes to dry or using natural lighting. Even though I take these steps to live more sustainably, I am always trying to improve my lifestyle and find new ways to be more environmentally conscious. This is because living more sustainably is a continuous process and small steps over time really do add up when it comes to supporting our planet.
