Are you looking for a fun, interactive and educational experience for your child over the March Break? The Ecodemy is offering two virtual small group sessions covering two very important Environmental Education topics! Courses will last approximately two hours.
Zero Waste 101

Kids will learn all about how much waste we create each year and why it is important to start being more mindful of our consumption. Kids will also learn simple everyday strategies to reduce the amount of garbage we create.

Microplastics

Kids will learn all about one of the largest areas of plastic pollution, how microplastics are formed and how they affect our waterways & environment. They will learn effective strategies on how to reduce our personal impact and why it is important to become aware of this ever growing problem.

Our team is made up of passionate educators and community members with a background in academics. However, the Ecodemy is not an accredited institution.
What do Ecodemy Courses include?
Ecodemy environmental education courses include a thoroughly researched curriculum comprised of video learning segments, knowledge check quizzes, and activities.
How do I take an Ecodemy Course?
Ecodemy courses are delivered online using a standard video player. Enroll in the course by making an individual purchase or signing up for an all access membership. Review the videos making notes as you go along. Complete the knowledge check quiz to reinforce the learning. Take some time to review the activity, reflecting on your learning while you come up with a solution.
When do the courses start?
The courses are available on-demand for your schedule. Start whenever you like and pick up where you left off if you need a break.
