Are you looking for a fun, interactive, and educational experience for your child over the March Break? The Ecodemy is offering two virtual sessions covering two very important Environmental Education topics!
Tuesday March 15 – 9:30am – 11:30am – “Zero Waste 101”
Kids will learn all about how much waste we create each year and why it is important to start being more mindful of our consumption. Kids will also learn simple everyday strategies to reduce the amount of garbage we create.
Age: 8-12
Thursday March 17 – 9:30am – 11:30am – “Microplastics”
Kids will learn all about one of the largest areas of plastic pollution, how microplastics are formed and how they affect our waterways & environment. They will learn effective strategies on how to reduce our personal impact and why it is important to become aware of this ever-growing problem.
Age: 8-12

*Google Meet
*Jam board
*Materials list will be emailed 3 days prior to the class (Materials will consist of items found in your recycling bin – we will be upcycling items into something new)
